LoveLight Greetings, Bringing Love To Light
I was having Lunch with a dear friend one day in San Juan Capistrano, California. Sitting outside in the sunshine, perfect weather in our "Cowboy, Horse, Historical Surroundings."
Mary said to me, "You see everything like it is brand new!"
The words stopped me! It hit me like a lightening bolt!
I thought about this since then hundreds of times. That has been over 15 years ago and it still haunts me, in a good way.
Mary was right! I see the beauty in almost everything. That could be the artist in me, and/or, it could be the Jesus in me?
I think "LoveLight Greetings, reflect this statement."
I see beauty everyday. It is surprising to me there aren't thousands of LoveLight Greeting cards, instead of only hundreds of LoveLight Greetings. Everything I see is SO FULL!

Never planned in a million years to be a WESTERN Artist painting Celebrities. It was a GOD thing. Sounds unreal doesn't it? My husband was a western movie actor Jon Locke and we traveled all over the United States (250,000 miles) for 10 years with Western Film Festivals. As Christians we entertained, Jon on his banjo, me on Ernie, a washboard with bongo, cymbals, guido, cow bell, yellow enameled pot, a black frying pan, playing all with drum sticks and topped off with a small flying American flag. We were a pair! When they saw Jon with his banjo and me with Ernie, everyone knew they would have a good time. One very special Western Film Festival in Tennessee, Little Oscar Mayer was with us with his wife, Elizabeth, and a packed house of about 500 people. Jon and I were on stage doing our fun thing and Little Oscar and Liz were whirling around the floor. It was a sight to see and as we ended, we had the greatest "Standing Ovation" I had ever seen.
There were memories from every state and festival from Hollywood, California to Forever, Florida. We knew all the people I paint.
LOVELIGHT GREETING CARDS STARTED
AS WE WERE GOING ALL OVER AMERICA.
People wanted the Cowboy images to frame. The Greeting cards were designed to be exactly 5" x 7" , in FULL Vibrant Color. They fit perfectly into
a 5" x 7" frame. At this time, there are about 350 different greeting cards in our
LOVELIGHT GREETING CARD COLLECTION.

Since a child, I had two dreams: 1) To have a horse & to be a drummer. I told my father I wanted to be a drummer & he told me, "Girls can't be drummers." I never told my father I wanted a Horse. It was too important for me, not to have someone take away my dream!
BTW: I was doing artwork for Karen Carpenter and went into her house. There was a beautiful candy apple red set of drums in her living room. My father had passed away when I was 17. I was now in my late 20"s. I stood there looking at her drums and told myself, "My dad lied to me! I became a drummer at age 39. I got my first horse at age 40! Keep YOUR Dreams!
