Norco, California, Trigger is sitting on top of a Flag Pole with an 10' x 18' waving American Flag even in high winds.

Norco California, a GREAT community and Cowboy, Horses in Southern California. It was NOT a regular So. Cal town. We were cowboys, horses, horsetrails on every street. Great little city parades with people's tractors, their horses, the 4H Club. It was a community where everyone knew everyone.
The McDonald's had horse waterers, feeding trough. You rode your horse through the drive through. The same with Jack In The Box. The Pharmacy carried nearly all my greeting cards, hundreds.
One of the biggest things I had done in Norco was the Freeway Wall. It was 2300' long and my design was 2300' of horses, running, playing, foals, rearing. It is along the 15 Freeway in Norco. The Freeway Wall was poured concrete with the horse images cutout inside the pour.
About 1/4 mile south is another landmark and also along the 15 freeway. It is a 9'6" REARING Horse on top of a 50 foot flagpole. I was asked by a San Juan Capistrano client to put a fiberglass horse on top of her industrial complex to get attention. I had gone to the city and asked them if I could put this horse on top of the building. They said NO.
"Can I put up a flagpole?" YES!
"Can I put an eagle on top of the flagpole? Yes!
"Can I put a horse on top of the flagpole? Yes!
"Can I put a 9' 6" rearing horse on top of the flagpole? Yes?
????????????????????????????????????????????????????
So I put a 9'6" horse on top of a 50' flagpole. I also had it engineered for
125 mph winds, and had a steel armature built inside the horse for stability.
Also had a 18' long flag flying from it.
Who Knew? I am still amazed at that one.
It is amazing to me to review and see again the things that God has allowed me to be a part of. I live my life day to day like anyone else and forget ALL the wonderful creative projects where I could REALLY FLY!
