Ben Cooper, known for his boyish charm and roles in countless Westerns, was a joy to meet. Despite his years in the industry, he still carried the same energy and enthusiasm he had when he first started out.
As we talked about his career, Cooper expressed his love for the Western genre and the way it allowed him to explore different aspects of heroism. For his portrait, I wanted to capture that youthful exuberance, while also paying homage to the iconic roles he played. I used bright, dynamic colors to reflect his lively spirit, and incorporated elements of the Western landscapes that he loved so much.
The final piece was a celebration of a man who had brought joy to so many through his roles—a portrait that captured both the actor and the dreamer.
